I saw the most recent was for an ADD Med called Stratterra When I was changing for bed that very night an ad came on TV that a side effect of Stratterra was suicide . Take you time breathe, walk in the sunshine, go eat ice cream and concentrate on small things. If someone isn’t helping you take a break from that person. Keep aware that you were not in control then and nothing you did or didn’t do would change the outcome. I found concentrating on putting on foot in front of another and moving around helped me heal. Being alone was not as healthy as making myself interact with others. Push yourself to attend meetings and know that time does not heal everything but time does help you learn that you will move forward again.Read More

This month my son Ryan has been gone for 12 years. In many ways it’s like yesterday and other ways it’s seems so long ago. In time you will learn to live with the hurt and pain but you never “get over it”. People have said well I’m glad you are over his death, and they mean well. I want to lash out and say “you are NEVER over it”, you only learn to keep moving and move through the grief. I honestly can say without Linda Davis and without Austin-SOS I do not know if I could have made it down this road. If you will listen to her and to the stories of the others in the group you will heal.
